  1. First, you’ll need to download the Snapchat app for iOS or Android.
  2. Open the Snapchat app 📲
  3. Tap ‘Sign Up’ to create a new account!
  4. Enter in your name and birthdate 📅
  5. Create a username 🤔 It can’t be changed after you make it, so choose wisely!
  6. Make a secure password that will be easy to remember! Choose one over 10 characters long to make your password extra strong 💪
  7. Enter in a valid email address 📧
  8. Enter your phone number and verify it 📞 This step is optional, but if you get locked out of your account for any reason, we’ll now be able to send you a password reset link over SMS!
  9. Find your friends 👯 Allow access to your contacts to easily get in touch with all your friends on Snapchat!
  10. Tap ‘Share Username’ to show off your new account!
  11. The Snapchat app should take care of the rest 🙌
